I use an eclectic approach with a primary focus on CBT, person-centered therapy and mindfulness. Because of my belief in your ability to find your own answers, I see my tole as a facilitator. I also provide objective guidance, challenge, and support. I will do my best to listen without judgement, and help you identify your intuitive knowledge.  I will support you in making your own decisions. I strive to provide a supportive, non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

Hi my name is Dr. Den and I would love to have the opportunity to help you identify your goals, develop strategies, and implement positive and lasting changes in your life. I use an integrative and holistic approach to counseling adapting different therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual needs in order to improve your well-being and mental health. Some therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Solution-Focus Brief Therapy, Grief and Trauma Therapy. It is important to note that the best therapeutic approach to help you meet your goals will vary depending on your individual needs, preferences, and presenting issues.  Creating a therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, collaboration and mutual respect will offer you a safe place to explore and resolve your issues fostering positive and lasting changes in your life. Over the past 20 years I worked with all age groups dealing  with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, self-esteem, anger and many others. I would be honored to collaborate with you to find peace and growth in your life...

Through mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other humanistic approaches, I am interested in encouraging individuals maximize their strengths, helping couples resolve barriers to loving relationships, and helping families become units that can nurture their members to succeed in this very stressful world. Improving communication

Through mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other humanistic approaches, I am interested in encouraging individuals maximize their strengths, helping couples resolve barriers to loving relationships, and helping families become units that can nurture their members to succeed in this very stressful world. Improving communication, resolving power/control issues and developing assertiveness are all important in resolving interpersonal conflicts. Anxiety and depression are increasingly experienced in today's world and I want to help individuals find ways to beat the odds. Relaxation, visualization, and mindfulness are assets in dealing with anxiety, depression, and daily frustration. Learning to recognize triggers for distressing emotions and resolving those triggers are important aspects of my work. Guiding individuals to reassess memories and to reassess their concepts of self are often important steps to a more satisfying life.
